Christmas Angel Ornaments

In lieu of poinsettias, Christmas Angel Ornaments may be purchased “In Memory of” or “In Honor of” loved ones. The ornaments will be used to decorate the tree in Church, and are available for $5 each. They may be taken home after Christmas or donated to the Church. Forms and envelopes are available in the back of Church. You may place it in the Offertory basket, take it to the Parish Office or send to Laura Wilde, P.O. Box 292, Wall, TX 76957 before December 19th. Please designate if the ornament is “In Memory of” or “In Honor of” your loved one.

Parish Council

Anyone interested in serving on the Parish Council should call the Parish Office @ 651-7551. Posting of the nominees will be Dec. 24/25 and Dec. 31/Jan. 1. The elections will be held in January.

Youth Christmas Mass

Music practice for the Youth Christmas Mass (Dec. 24th @ 6:00 pm) will be held from 5:45-6:00 pm on Nov. 30th and Dec. 14th. Any youth planning to be at that Mass are welcome to sing!
Any youth who would like to perform Christmas music (instrumental or vocal) before the Mass, please call Johnnie Mae Stice @ 656-8627. Please call before Dec. 16th.

Senior Citizen Thanksgiving Meal

Thursday Nov 17th 5:00 pm: Senior Citizen Thanksgiving Meal in the Parish Hall, sponsored and served by the Junior High Youth Group. If you know of shut-ins that would appreciate a meal delivered to them, please call the Parish Office.

Bake Sale

Nov. 19/20: There will be a Bake Sale after Masses for Fr. Joe’s Orphanage and School. This will be a joint effort of St. Helen’s Altar Society and CDA. Members are asked to bring a baked item to the Saturday evening or a Sunday morning Mass.

Catholic Women’s Conference

Ladies, the Heart of JMJ (Jesus, Mary & Joseph) Foundation invites you to the Catholic Women’s Conference to be held on Oct. 21-22 (Friday evening and Saturday) at the Clarion Hotel in San Angelo. We have an exciting roster of speakers who will speak about the Outrageous Love our Lord has for us all. The cost of the conference is $50 and includes a boxed lunch for Saturday. 75th Anniversary

The 75th Anniversary Committee is seeking his-torical items of interest for the Dec. 7th Celebra-tion. These could be photos, newspaper clippings, video clips from weddings or events, etc. from the past 75 years! We will be happy to make copies and return the original back to the owner. Are you someone or do you know someone who… Has expressed interest in becoming Catholic? Wants to learn more about the Catholic Church? Was baptized Catholic as a child, but has not celebrated the Sacraments of Confirmation and Eucharist? We offer an opportunity to come together in a small group to learn more about our faith. Sessions focus on the teaching and experience of the Church and prepare individuals to celebrate the sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist. You are invited to participate in the process with your questions, your insights and your faith story in a warm accepting setting. Sessions begin late August.
