St. Ambrose Parish Mission Statement
St. Ambrose Parish is a vibrant faith-filled people, dedicated to worshiping God, to proclaiming the good news of Jesus Christ, to enabling members for ministry, and to living together in the context of local community. We strive to reject sin and to live according to the values of the kingdom of God, emphasizing family life. We are sent to bring about the vision among our families and neighbors in our society, as part of the Diocese of San Angelo and the Roman Catholic Church.

  • Community Thanksgiving Service
    Nov. 19: 7:00 pm -- The Annual Community Thanksgiving 
    Service will be held in the Wall High School Gym. 
    Everyone is invited to this event to give thanks as a 
    community and support the scholarship given each year.

  • Senior Citizen’s Thanksgiving Dinner
    2:00-5:00 pm: Senior Citizen Day, followed by the Annual 
    Senior Citizen’s Thanksgiving Dinner in the Parish Hall at 
    5:00 pm. All Junior High Youth Group members and sponsors 
    are asked to participate. Following school on Nov. 20th, students 
    should ride Bus #39 to St. Ambrose. Youth sponsors will need to bring 
    a senior citizen door prize. Parents will need to pick up students following 
    clean-up, about 6:30 pm. FMI contact April Bowman @ 315-6035

  • Upcoming CCD & Youth Group Events
    Wednesday, Nov. 12: Lunch Break --I will be visiting all of you at the school cafeteria during your lunch periods. Please have a few tables set up for us to visit.
    Wednesday, Nov. 12: 6:30 pm -- 9th Grade ministries at Mass. Kids, please arrive at the church no later than 6:15. PARENTS, you are all welcome and encouraged to attend.
    Sunday, Nov. 16: All-Parent Meeting in the Parish Hall after the 9:00 am Mass: “Preventing Child Sexual Abuse” will be the topic. Please take the time to come listen to this very important subject matter . . . Awareness is the BEST prevention.
    Note: We are sorry to report that the Wesley Soup Kitchen requested us to postpone our Community Project that was set for this past Saturday due to a funeral. We will put a notice in the Bulletin when we get it rescheduled in the spring.
    Acknowledgements: The 10th grade students did a fine job on the ministries at last week’s Mass! We thank you and your teachers for participating. We had a great turnout at Friday night’s Huddle-Up after the game. Thanks, again, to Sharon, Lee and Gerald for chairing this event and all others who made this year’s Huddle-Up events a great success. Your friend in Christ, ~Dcn Dan

  • Pregnancy Help Center
    The Pregnancy Help Center is especially in need of baby wipes, basic baby bottles and baby blankets. Socks for  1 and 2 year olds, and used or new maternity clothes are also needed. You may place items in the basket inside of the back door of Church or drop them by the Pregnancy Help Center across from Lee Junior High. Thanks!

  • Community Thanksgiving
    Nov. 19: 7:00 pm -- The Annual Community Thanksgiving Service will be held in the Wall High School Gym.  Everyone is invited to this event to give thanks as a community and support the scholarship given each year. The  Community Choir will practice at 6:00 pm at the Brethren Church on each of the three Sundays prior to the  service: Nov. 2nd, 9th and 16th. Everyone is invited to be a part of the choir.
