St. Ambrose Parish Mission Statement
St. Ambrose Parish is a vibrant faith-filled people, dedicated to worshiping God, to proclaiming the good news of Jesus Christ, to enabling members for ministry, and to living together in the context of local community. We strive to reject sin and to live according to the values of the kingdom of God, emphasizing family life. We are sent to bring about the vision among our families and neighbors in our society, as part of the Diocese of San Angelo and the Roman Catholic Church.

    Tuesday, September 1st & Wednesday, September 2nd:
    8:30 am: FESTIVAL QUILT will be quilted in the Fellowship Hall. All ladies of the parish are invited to help.

  • Sacristans Needed
    There is a Training Session scheduled for Sacristans Sunday, September 6, after the 9:00 am Mass. Sacristans prepare the gifts for the Eucharistic Celebration and make ready the needed sacred vessels, lectionary, sacramentary, etc. We are especially needing Sacristans for the 6 pm and 9 am weekend Masses. This training is for new Sacristans, for those currently serving as a refresher course, and for any Eucharistic Ministers who are interested .

    HOLY FAMILY CCD CLASSES begin Wednesday,
    Sept. 2, with Registration and Ice-cream Social
    for all Students beginning at 6:00 pm.
    Confirmation Classes begin on Sunday, Sept. 6,
    from 9:30-10:30 am.

  • Jr. High & High School
    Jr. High & High School CCD Classes begin this week on Wednesday. Parents are asked to attend this first session. Student registration, REMIND sign-up, and youth group committee registration will take place in the Parish Hall. An Ice Cream Supper in the courtyard will follow around 7:30 pm. Parents — if you can bring a freezer of ice cream and/or serve students, please contact Beth at or call 234-7571.
